Honeymoons
Naïade Resorts regularly welcomes honeymoon couples to its hotels and we aim to ensure that you have a wonderful time throughout your stay. There are few more romantic or exotic places anywhere in the world than our wonderful island settings.
All honeymoon couples will find a bowl of fresh fruit waiting for them in their rooms, with a pareo for the wife and a T-shirt for the husband, with of course a bottle of bubbly!
To make their holiday even more romantic, honeymooners and wedding couples can opt for a whole range of extras – and if there is something special you want, always ask us and, if it is humanly possible, we will oblige!
Weddings
Our hotels all have very considerable experience in organising weddings in the most beautiful of tropical settings.
Beau Rivage
The vast swimming pool and its coconut palms lit up in the evenings is one of the most romantic and beautiful sights you can ever imagine. Whether you want to dress up a little for a gourmet dinner in Indouchine or sit on the beach in the Mediterranée restaurant, this hotel has everything.
There is never more than one wedding on any given day as, on your special day, the team will be looking only after you. Guests who have a specific date in mind should make sure they book early!
Various wedding options are possible, including the extravagantly oriental Royal Indian Wedding.
As in Indian tradition, before the wedding day the bride will choose her flowers, jewellery and saris and the groom, if he wishes, a smart Indian costume.
The Hindu ceremony begins in the morning with ritual ceremonies and beauty treatments in the Spa. There is tea in the afternoon in the Maharajah Suite, when the bride’s hands are decorated with Mehendi, a traditional Indian art form.
The gazebo is sumptuously decorated for the wedding ceremony, presided over by a Civil Officer, followed by a blessing ceremony performed by a Hindu priest.
A champagne toast follows back in the Suite, followed by dinner and a special dance routine. Pure Oriental magic!
A hostess is there to help the couple at all times and to look after all the arrangements.
More traditional weddings take place either in the gazebo or on the beach itself, conducted by a Civil Officer. After aperitifs, a romantic dinner follows either in the gazebo, on the beach, on your own terrace or at a specially set table in one of the restaurants.
A special champagne wedding breakfast is brought to the newly-married couple next morning in their bedroom.
For added romance. Honeymooners and wedding couples can opt for a whole range of extras, including a horse-drawn carriage, candlelit dinners on the beach, Sega dancers and French champagne.
To make the wedding day even more perfect, you can also add sessions in the Spa, a manicure and pedicure and a leisurely hour or two with the hairdresser.
Legends
What better way to start married life than in the luxurious setting of this Feng Shui hotel, where everything is done to ensure perfect harmony!
To make your tropical wedding a memorable occasion, the Legends team will work with you on all the preparations.
There is a range of weddings to choose from, including Indian or Chinese styles, or something more traditional. The team will do everything to make your day really special, whether you want an informal wedding on the beach or a more Zen occasion in a beautiful tropical garden setting.
Beforehand, the Spa and hairdressing salon are used to making the bride – and groom – feel wonderful, beautiful – or handsome – and relaxed.
The hotel looks after all the administrative details and a hostess helps you to select the flowers you want, a special menu worked out with the chef and everything else. She will keep you informed about all the arrangements and the choices that the hotel offers you.
Les Pavillons
Closed for renovation as from January 2008 until October 2008
At Les Pavillons, weddings are conducted in traditional style, by a Civil Official, in a wonderful variety of settings. There is the beach, with its vast expanse of fine white sands and turquoise and blue lagoon. Or you can wed in the Gazebo, specially decorated for the occasion, or in the middle of the lush, tropical gardens. Perhaps the most romantic are the weddings on Ile aux Benitiers, a desert island a short boat-ride from the hotel.
Whatever your choice, our staff are always there when needed to organise everything on your behalf. Many couples use the Spa facilities beforehand so that they feel absolutely and wonderfully relaxed.
After a photo session, there is a special aperitif at the Bar, followed by a romantic candlelit dinner, either on the beach itself, in the very popular setting of the Gazebo, at a special table in the restaurant or on your own terrace or balcony.
On wedding days, the Resort offers a wedding cake and a special marriage menu, as well, of course, as a bottle of bubbly. The morning after, there is a special wedding breakfast on your own terrace.
Merville Beach
Hotel staff discuss all arrangements with you well in advance and are there to guide you through your special day, which many couple choose to start with a massage or beauty treatment or a session with the hairdresser.

After a photo session, there is a special aperitif at the Bar, followed by a romantic candlelit dinner, either on the beach itself or at a special table in the restaurant.

Le Tropical welcomes many honeymoon couples and in its own special way. The bed is adorned with a tropical flower and the washbasin swims with colourful petals. A bowl of fruit awaits the newly-married couple in their bedroom, together, of course, with a bottle of sparkling wine. There are also gifts of a pareo for the new wife and a T-shirt for the husband.
What can be more romantic than a wedding in the warmth and colour of the tropics and where more appropriate than Le Tropical itself?
The hotel is a wonderful location for a traditional marriage ceremony, performed on the beachfront by a Civil Officer. A photo session follows on the beach itself or in the gardens, as the couple wishes, before an aperitif at the bar and a romantic wedding dinner, with a wedding cake, either on the beach or at a specially decorated table in the restaurant. Next morning, a special wedding breakfast is served on the newly-weds own terrace.
Hotel staff are happy to discuss individual wishes with the bride and groom, including flowers, beauty treatments and a whole range of other options to make the day perfect.
Desroches Island Resort
Even if you wanted to book the entire Resort, this would still be the place for a quiet wedding, but in the most extraordinary of settings. For honeymooners, it is perfect for having time together in an idyllic and romantic setting, with no-one to intrude on the first private moments of married life!

To feel really wonderful, add a session in the Spa beforehand and then, a day or two later perhaps, one of the most romantic of all is an evening boat trip, with canapés and champagne, to watch the sun setting over the distant horizon.
For all weddings, certain formalities need to be completed, but full details can be given to you at the time of booking. In most cases, it is necessary to give at least a month’s notice and to arrive at your hotel at least three days before the wedding ceremony.
