2007 sees the dawn of an exciting new era for Naïade Resorts, the Mauritian hotel group renowned for its exclusive service and warm hospitality. Founded in 1990, Naïade Resorts is now the second largest Mauritian hotel company, with an undisputed reputation in the Indian Ocean. Naiade is upgrading all of its current properties to provide state-of-the-art new luxury facilities and increased levels of service and raised star ratings. This will make Naiade one of the most luxurious Resort companies in the Indian Ocean.
The group currently consists of six hotels and a private island in Mauritius, two hotels in Reunion, an island resort in the Seychelles and a villa resort in the Maldives, each with its own individual charm: the 5-star Deluxe Beau Rivage and its villas on the white sandy beach of Belle Mare; the 5-star Deluxe Legends the only Feng Shui hotel in the Indian Ocean; the colonial-style Les Pavillons (presently under renovation to open in November 2008 as a 5-star), the newly opened Tamassa in Bel Ombre, the cosmopolitan Merville Beach near Grand Bay, the vibrant Le Tropical, the secluded private island of Ile des Deux Cocos, along with the luxurious and wild Desroches Island Resort in the Seychelles and a 5-star Deluxe resort in the Maldives to be completed in May 2008 (phase 1) and in September 2008 (phase 2) called Diva. Last year , Naïade Resorts’ hotel chain was enlarged with the acquisition of 2 additional hotels in Reunion Island, Les Villas du Lagon, 4-star and Les Villas du Récif, 3-star.
