Naļade Resorts Ltd was founded in 1987. The company was admitted to the Official List of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius in November 2005 and is mainly Mauritian-owned.
Naļade Resorts owns and manages 10 hotels in the Indian Ocean, namely: Beau Rivage and its twelve luxury villas, Legends, Les Pavillons, Tamassa, Merville Beach and Le Tropical in Mauritius, where it also runs the private, one-villa Ile des Deux Cocos in Blue Bay; White Sands Resort & Spa, now being renovated to become Diva Maldives, in the Maldives; Desroches Island Resort in the Seychelles and in september 2007, Naiade Resorts aquired 2 hotels in Reunion Island; Les Villas du Lagon, 4-star and Les Villas du Récifs, 3-star.
As at 31 December 2006, Naiade Resorts was the third-largest hotel group in Mauritius in revenue and profits.
Naļade Resorts is committed to "realising our guests' dreams by developing and providing innovative, daring and excellent hospitality products served by devoted, committed, highly trained, vibrant people-our key asset." Naiade Resorts is currently focusing its efforts and resources on new development projects across the Indian Ocean. In Mauritius, the construction of the 4-star Tamassa hotel (investment: 28 million euros), opened in December 2007; the inauguration of 12 luxury villas at Beau Rivage (investment: 7 million euros), in November 2007; and the upgrading of Beau Rivage and Legends to 5-star Deluxe and 5-star respectively. And in the Maldives, the transformation of the 4-star White Sands Resort into a 5-star Deluxe hotel named Diva (investment: 45 million euros), due to be completed in 2008 (phase 1 opening in May 2008 and phase 2 opening in September 2008).

Naiade Resorts is actively looking for other resort- and lodge-development opportunities, mainly though not exclusively in the Indian Ocean region.
The Group posted outstanding results in 2006 with profit before taxation amounting to Rs 586 million compared with Rs 388 million in 2005, an improvement of 50%. This figure includes an exceptional profit of Rs 82 million, resulting from the dilution of the company's holding in two of its subsidiaries, namely Océanide Ltd and Naļade Resorts Maldives Ltd. Excluding this exceptional item, profit before taxation was Rs 505 million, representing nonetheless an increase of 30% over 2005. These commendable results were achieved despite the outbreak of Chikungunya that affected the Group's operations in Mauritius between March and July 2006.
