Clapotis Between the ocean and the pool, light melodious water drops. Amidst the ocean breeze and the gentle song of the filao trees, in this naturally peaceful décor, Naïade has created Clapotis. This new-born Grand Hôtel du Lagon restaurant exalts Reunion Island’s traditional cuisine in a simple and relaxed ambience.
Make yourself at ease on the large wooden deck. Enjoy the magnificent view over the lagoon, while tasting a spicy sausage ‘rougail’, one of the island’s specialities, or a red tuna tartare. Dessert is a tricky choice between a tempting chocolate tart or a cardamon flavoured banana cake, an equally delicious local dessert, or you may want to go for some fresh mangoes! Sipping a vanilla flavoured rum or a simple papaya juice… moments of pure happiness offered by Clapotis...
A festive ambience and natural authentic flavours welcome evening guests around the rustic décor of the giant chimney. Latin or oriental theme evenings or tantalizing barbecues: savoury king prawns, ‘duck magrets’, without forgetting of course the superb lobster, meals shared around large teak tables. Clapotis at Grand Hôtel du Lagon, a new charming and rustic venue.
